Lilligren uses fire to create her stunning ceramic pieces\, and Marquart writes about the fire that changed the course of her life. Thus began a long association in which their respective art forms found intersection points. For this artist talk\, Lilligren and Marquart will show examples of their art-intersections and discuss their newest collaboration\, a project that meditates on the state of the environment and the impact that resource extraction has on the health of the planet.
